As an Instructional Designer and e-Learning Developer, I take great pride in creating impactful training experiences that make others shine, serving as a testament to my strong work ethic and the exceptional deliverables I produce. With a deep understanding of adult learning principles, expertise in designing interactive learning solutions, and proficiency in a wide range of e-Learning tools, I am dedicated to crafting innovative and effective training programs. Outside of work, I enjoy various interests and hobbies, from weightlifting and fishing to kayaking and relaxing at the beach. As a fan of all things sci-fi (Star Wars, Star Trek, DC Comics, Marvel, etc.) I eagerly embrace the world of storytelling and imagination. I also have a keen interest in costume design, cultural diversity, and reading. I love exploring new places through travel, and I'm an avid basketball fan.

The scope of my role:
Establish the purpose of the training
Collaborate to produce learning objectives
Evaluate the characteristics of my target audience
Assess gaps in desired performance level vs. current performance level
Determine essential training content
Collect data (observations, interviews, surveys, focus groups, reports)
Gauge possible constraints (time, budget, resources, technological)
Prepare a Design Document detailing learning needs, performance gaps, and recommended solutions
The scope of my role:
Clarify learning outcome and assessment targets
Determine best training modality
Chunk course content for scaffolding and comprehension
Decide on appropriate interactions (in e-Learning) or activities, scenarios, simulations
Use 508 guidelines to identify potential accessibility barriers
Author assessments
Select instructional materials, technology, and resources
Generate a storyboard for review by subject matter experts (SMEs)
The scope of my role:
Create content: written materials, multimedia elements, videos, audio recordings, e-Learning modules, interactive simulations
Implement modifications for 508 compliance
Collaborate with graphic designers, multimedia specialists, or SMEs to ensure quality and usability
Seek iterative review and feedback
Produce finalized versions of deliverables
Quality assurance
Manage production timeline and resources to ensure timely handoff of deliverables
The scope of my role:
Facilitate training sessions or coordinate with facilitators who will be conducting training
Export deliverables to ensure SCORM compatibility (if e-Learning)
Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate equipment and support materials for implementation
